Thelma Ewell Promoted to Executive Director
The Tennessee Golf Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Thelma Ewell, to the position of Executive Director, The First Tee of Nashville. For many of our participants and parents, who have had the opportunity to know Thelma, this promotion comes as no surprise. Congratulations to our new Executive Director.

Volunteer Of The Month: Stephen Fosha
Stephen was one of our first volunteer tutors. He started in November 2009. He has consistently worked with a couple of our participants in Pre-Algebra, Language, Spelling, and Social Studies. We are looking for Volunteers this Spring to assist with instruction and Life Skills Training. We are also looking for ladies to assist us with our LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program.

Tutoring Update: "Progress Reports"
November 19 was the launch of our tutoring program. To date, several kids have "asked for help" and have seen significant improvement in their grades.
