The VinnyLinks at Shelby Park is a par 28, nine-hole golf course that plays to a maximum of yardage 2420. The facility has bermuda greens, driving range (mats and grass), practice green and a short game area with bunker. The course is open for public play, however, kids get top priority during summer weekday and fall after school programs.

The Learning Center is 7,500 square feet and features a classroom, computer lab, social area and a large porch that features rocking chairs and unique benches. The club storage area houses the golf clubs used by most of the participants, who get to use them at no charge as long as they are returned in good condition.

For Rutherford County residents, there is another The First Tee Chapter in Smyrna, TN that is located 40 minutes south of The VinnyLinks, just off I-24, at Smyrna Municipal Golf Course.

Affiliates of The First Tee

Chapters can develop partnerships with golf courses in addition to their learning facility locations to provide access to course play and to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience.  Affiliates are an efficient way for Chapters to expand access and program locations and to increase involvement from the local golf community. The ultimate goal is to impact more young people through The First Tee Life Skills Experience.
