Programs & Instructions There is a small $40 program fee, per child, to participate in Nashville's The First Tee program. Participants must be 8-17 years old to sign up. Participants who want to take the 9 week PLAYer, Par, Birdie, or Eagle Life Skills Experience, need to make a commitment to not miss a week, either with perfect attendance or make up sessions.

The 2009 Ace & Eagle Academy The Ace & Eagle Academy began on July 29 at Golf House of Tennessee in Franklin. The academy was free to 42 deserving First Tee participants. 7 of these participants came from The First Tee of Nashville.

ACE LEVEL To enter the ACE level, participants must be 13-17 years old, Eagle Certified and enrolled in high school. Participants must also APPLY to enter this program.

Fall 2009 Blind Golf Clinic TFT Nashville hosted a clinic for blind golfers from The Tennessee School for the Blind and Metro Nashville Public Schools. 22 kids had the opportunity to learn golf skills with the more advanced players on the golf course.

PE Teachers Training The First Tee of Nashville hosted an in-service training for 42 Physical Education teachers from Metro Nashville Public Schools. The teachers were primarily from middle schools and high schools.

Blind Clinic On Wednesday November 29, 2008 The First Tee of Nashville hosted a clinic for blind children from Tennessee School for the Blind and Metro Nashville Public Schools. The clinic was coordinated by Jim Baker, former US National Champion, for the US Blind Golfers Association.
