Volunteers & Involvement
The First Tee of Nashville is looking for volunteers that can assist with instruction and Life Skills Training. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact Ashley Parrott. You can call VinnyLinks at (615) 880-1720 or e-mail ashley@thefirstteenashville.org.
We are also looking for Volunteers in the following areas:
(1)ADAPTIVE GOLF - We will host a clinic every 2 weeks in the morning.
(2)TUTORING- You pick your own schedule and work with students for an hour, once a week
(3)ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS - Updating the database, updating attendance sheets, etc.
(4)LPGA*USGA GIRLS GOLF - Women who are interested in teaching young ladies the game of girl. We also have activities outside of golf

Volunteer of the Month: C.J. Sabia
C.J. was one of our first volunteer tutors. Starting in November 2009, CJ has consistenly worked with one of our participants in Pre-Algebra. Through his dedication, CJ has helped this participant raise his grade from an F to a B. Kudos to our participant for "asking for help" and to CJ for his generous efforts.

Volunteer of the Month: Joshua McDade
Joshua has consistently worked with our participants since Fall 2009. He coaches PAR and PLAYer Classes on Saturday's and then works with the Eagle Class when asked. He has been a great addition to The First Tee team. His love for the game and for kids is evident when put out on the Course. Click the link below to learn more about Joshua.

VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH
William Davis, Marshall Kerns, Will Gurney, Evan Barre, and Ben Jackson(Not Pictured) of Vanderbilt's Sigma Chi Fraternity have been huge assets to our program since last fall. Volunteer Of The Month: Stephen Fosha
Former participant of The First Tee of Greater Seattle, Stephen was one of our first volunteer tutors. Stephen is excited about being able to give back to The First Tee. He started in November 2009. He has consistently worked with a couple of our participants in Pre-Algebra, Language, Spelling, and Social Studies. He has helped our participants increase their grades in many subjects. Tutoring Update: "Progress Reports"
November 19 was the launch of our tutoring program. To date, several kids have "asked for help" and have seen significant improvement in their grades. Kudos to them for using this Life Skill, which they learned in the PAR Level. Click the link below to see how these participants are excelling off the golf course.
