The Tennessee Golf Foundation is proud to announce that Thelma Ewell has been promoted to the position of Executive Director of the First Tee of Nashville. In addition to her program delivery duties, Thelma is now responsible for the overall fiscal health of the Nashville chapter, our two Branded Program Affiliates in Tri-Cities and Clarksville as well as our Military Affiliate Program at Ft. Campbell. As we look into further affiliate expansion, Thelma will take the lead role in determining the programming and economic viability of each location. Thelma now has responsibility over the budget and the annual revenue generation and fundraising that is tied to it and has taken the lead in the new mentoring program as well.
Thelma's understanding of the curriculum and operations has made her a member of The First Tee home office's "go to team" and that experience is evident in how she operates our chapter. The young people in our communities have a wonderful asset in Thelma and she is their biggest ally.
