When asked "Why do you want to serve as a volunteer for The First Tee?" CJ replied, "I would like to begin contributing to society and positively impacting the lives of those who aren't as fortunate."  In addition to our Thursday tutor day, CJ has been tutoring additional days as needed by our participant.


C.J. Is originally from Gallatin, TN and now resides in Franklin with his wife Leslie (Nelson) and lab/ shepherd mix, Kasper. C.J. Graduated from The University of Tennessee with a B.S. In Logistics and Transportation in 2003. Upon graduating, he built over 150 homes in Middle TN and is now a Service Manager with Cintas Corporation. C.J. Is an avid golfer and fly fisherman. In regards to his experience with First Tee, C.J. says, "I was looking for a way to personally make a positive impact in the Middle TN community. I learned about First Tee through PGA broadcasts, and I approached the Nashville Chapter about opportunities. They had a need for a Geometry tutor, which was right up my alley. My student, is a great young man who is driven to achieve. What a great first impression on behalf of the young men and women of First Tee Nashville! I am fortunate to be a part of such a great organization."
